For over a decade, I have had the privileged responsibility of representing you as our State Senator.  For me, the job is more than just playing an active role in the legislative process, it is being part of the community and helping people solve their problems and improve the quality of their lives.  I believe in public service and I have made a concerted effort to make sure that all residents in our district benefit from all that our Commonwealth has to offer.

Please know that you can always count on me to work hard for the people of Central and Western Massachusetts.  I strongly believe that the voters of the Worcester, Hampden, Hampshire and Middlesex Counties have entrusted me to represent their interests in the State Senate and I will continue to do so with honor and dignity.
